A Playful “Be a Kid Again” Experience at Luna Park Sydney
Luna Park Sydney provided the backdrop for one of the most memorable and playful experiences of a five-day client incentive program, with Laissez-Faire Catering designing and delivering the culinary experience for a vibrant “Be a Kid Again” themed celebration welcoming 500 guests to the iconic harbourfront amusement park.

Working alongside event partners AV1 and Simply Seated, the evening combined immersive entertainment, styling and production with Laissez-Faire Catering’s creative culinary program, allowing guests to explore the park while enjoying a series of themed food stations and interactive experiences.

Upon arrival, guests entered the Midway where roving canapés were served while rides and sideshow games were exclusively activated for the group. Food stations throughout the venue encouraged guests to move between experiences, creating a dynamic and energetic atmosphere.

Live stations included dumpling bars serving prawn, pork and vegetarian gow gee, alongside burger stations featuring Wagyu beef, southern fried chicken and vegetarian options. Additional stations offered comforting seasonal dishes such as pumpkin and tomato soup, while roaming service ensured guests could enjoy canapés throughout the park.

The evening culminated inside the Big Top where guests gathered for a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner – a meaningful cultural touch for the US-based guests – featuring roast turkey with classic accompaniments including cranberry sauce, stuffing and roasted vegetables.

Playful dessert moments continued the theme, with apple and pecan pies served alongside branded cake pops presented by Santa as guests departed.

Combining nostalgia, theatre and exceptional hospitality, the event transformed Luna Park Sydney into a sophisticated yet joyful event experience that guests described as one of the highlights of the entire program.
