Rodd Island is a small island in the centre of Iron Cove, between the suburbs of Drummoyne, Russell Lea, Rodd Point, Haberfield and Leichhardt. Today the island is uninhabited, and forms part of the Sydney Harbour National Park. The island has had various other names over its history: Rabbit Island, Rhode Island, Snake Island and Jack Island.

Producing a stunning edible book made from a rich and delicious chocolate mud cake, it was a huge hit with the State Library staff and peers.

Held in the historic Mitchell Vestibule, the beautiful surroundings combined with today’s technology bought the “Lewin Wild Art” Exhibition opening to life. 150 people enjoyed the ambiance, food, beverage and service to make it a very special night.
