What are the MEA Awards

MEA's National Awards program is the longest running, pre-eminent Awards program in Australia. Having run for over twenty-five years, MEA's Awards program is to begin with state-wide awards ceremonies, whereby successful candidates may then advance to an awards night at a national level.

MEA's National Awards program recognises and celebrates the outstanding achievements and expertise of individuals and organisations in the events sector. In particular, MEA looks to celebrate creativity, excellence, and professionalism in the design, management, delivery, servicing and advancement of the events industry in Australia.

The NSW Premier’s Literary Awards and the Premier’s History Awards are an important and integral part of the State’s cultural activity. On 5 April the NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell announced that the awards will be reinvigorated and strengthened, following a recent review. These Awards are presented by the NSW Government and managed by the State Library of NSW in association with Arts NSW.

Create a glittering celebration. Laissez faire was responsible for the following; menu and beverage design, styling. The colour red inspired from the waratah was the theme of the evening.

The room usually set to cater to over 200 students with computers and photocopiers was transformed into a unique dining room.

The event was a complete success. Guests were taken away by the beauty and uniqueness of the room.
