General Information - FAQ's
The Calyx will close to the public when there is a private function booked.
Parking: If driving to the Garden, 24-hour metered parking is available on Mrs Macquaries Road, Hospital Road and Macquarie Street.
Secure, undercover parking is also available at the Domain Car Park. Mobility parking is available near the Woolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW.
Walking: The closest entrance to The Calyx is via Morshead Fountain Gate, corner of Macquarie Street and Shakespeare Place. Morshead Fountain Gate is used for guest arrival at all events within The Calyx. Woolloomooloo Gate is the closest gate for an accessible pathway, open only during Garden opening hours.
The Calyx is a short walk from the Sydney Harbour foreshore, close to Sydney CBD and public transport.

Full packages are available to make wedding days easy and memorable, including ceremonies at one of the Garden’s beautiful lawns, followed by an incredible reception at The Calyx.
Leaf Department Café
Laissez-faire Catering have partnered with Nathan Dalah, co-founder of the hugely popular Fishbowl, Side Room and Fish Shop, to bring visitors to The Calyx a new botanic inspired café experience. Open to the public daily from 8am–4pm.
