These past few months have been a whirlwind of excitement at Laissez-faire! We have achieved some huge milestones that we’d like to share with all of you -

The State Library of NSW has rewarded us again in full; We won the contract at Fox Studios which is the 9th café under our operation (we are looking for our 10th – email Sara); We have been all over the news and social media for our recent high profile events - hosting our largest event ever with over 15,000 guests at the International Fleet review, the Longest Reserve Table with Pete Evans, and launching the first Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food in Sydney; We opened a new 500 capacity event space; Took home the award for best stand at the Sydney Event Showcase and last week were nominated as a finalist for EEAA2013 Awards for Excellence for the Best Custom Stand; And we have finally moved to our bigger and brighter loft style office at ATP!

The LF team is bursting at the seams - we are so excited to share this with you and much more! Preparation for the busiest Christmas period this company has ever seen are steadily evolving and the goods news is……we want more! The Maritime Museum hosted Jacobs Creek’s longest reserve table.

Banquet tables along the Ben Lexcen Terrace overlooked darling harbour at twilight. With the sun going down, guest shared a meal they brought themselves showcasing their heritage, making a lot of nonna’s proud.

This unique café blends old and new with an industrial feel.
Cut Café is open to Fox Studios staff and contractors during the week.

New & Unique Event Space

LF is pleased to announce along with the Australian National Maritime Museum, the opening of Gallery One. This breathtaking event space overlooks the harbour and the museum’s historic fleet.With capacity for up to 300 seated guests, this is sure to be a sought after location.

Best stand:

Our mad hatters tea party themed stall won best stand at the Sydney Event Showcase last month.
The idea was to showcase a selection of our items at a mad hatter style table. We couldn’t have done it without Decorative Events. Without their attention to every detail, our vision couldn’t have become a reality.

Thirty five independent judges have cast their votes and we are pleased to be announced as one of the finalists in the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) 2013 Awards for Excellence. The 2013 EEAA Award for Excellence finalists for Best Custom Stand
